Digital transformation of commercial banks and outsourcing of functions

The article is devoted to the relevant aspects of the implementation of digital technologies in the financial sector, which significantly change the structure of providers of financial market products and services. This, in turn, determines the inevitability of changing the business model of the traditional universal commercial bank as a whole, and in particular, the expansion of commercial use of own and third-party resources and competencies. In the conditions of open banking new competitors and suppliers enter in the banking sector, which activate the development of economic relations of specialized actors on the principles of outsourcing in order to optimize the distribution of costs. The article analyzes the possible directions of development of a traditional bank in the digital economy and discusses the outsourcing of bank functions, as an effective tool to optimize costs, taking into account the need to solve a number of specific problems of its implementation, presented by the authors in the article.
