The relevance of the study of methods for optimizing logistics costs is one of the effective tools for reducing cost items for companies conducting foreign economic activity (hereinafter – foreign economic activity), as well as ensures the security of foreign economic activity.

Minimization of logistics costs is currently the main task facing the Government of the Russian Federation (hereinafter – the Russian Federation). Labeling of products, import substitution, development of supplies within the framework of parallel imports, control of traceability of goods being wrapped and their subsequent sale in accordance with all norms and quality standards is a vector of direction and development of Russian and Eurasian trade, which will ensure the development of the Russian economy on a par with the largest international economies and bring it closer to the standards of providing high–quality digital logistics services. the market in terms of redistribution of cargo flows.

Today, in conditions of constant increase in the cost of transportation and related logistics services, lack of cargo capacity, the costs associated with logistics activities are quite a large part of the costs for companies engaged in foreign economic activity and international trade and can reach 50-60% of the cost of a commodity batch – the entire process of moving products in the logistics chain is taken into account.
