The liaison of the «green» economy and the concept of lean manufacturing

The article considers the possibility and necessity of integration of green economy technologies with lean production tools. Green economy involves the transformation of the economy in the direction of improving resource efficiency, reducing risks to the environment and improving the comfort of people's lives. The concept of lean manufacturing serves as a philosophy aimed at eliminating losses at all stages of the product life cycle without compromising its quality by ensuring a continuous flow of product value creation. The modern development of lean production involves the creation of a production system, in which energy-saving and green technologies are actively used, implying technical and design solutions that are friendly to the environment and people. The joint use of green economy tools and lean production methods will provide a synergistic effect, which will be beneficial in various areas: production, environmental, social.
