Key G20 Agreements on Financing the Energy Transition

JATS‑XML (OAI)In the G20, the issue of financing the energy transition was part of politically and environmentally motivated discourse. We analyze the chronology of the development of the energy transition debate, its organization and management process. The main research question is whether the expectations embodied in the G20 plans for organizing and financing the energy transition stand the test of time. The main conclusion is that the energy transition policy is not effective, does not achieve its goals and is poorly adapted to changing economic and political realities.
