Research on the growth dynamics of «green» products’ popularity

JATS‑XML (OAI)Sustainable development and sustainable consumption have become key factors in the fight against global warming in general and pollution in particular. It is necessary to understand the attitude of consumers towards «green» products for consumers motivation making decisions about sustainable consumption. This study analyzed the existing statistics of demand for environmentally friendly goods. Various factors of influence on purchasing intentions in relation to «green» consumption were identified, and the importance’s degree of each of them was indicated. The result of this study is a positive correlation between a high level of environmental concern and brand loyalty which creates competitive advantages for companies.
