Priorities of industrial development in the conditions of sanctions threats to economic security

The article examines the issue of identifying priority areas in the development of the industrial complex in Russia amidst sanction threats and economic security challenges. The author conducts a thorough analysis of the current situation, identifying key challenges and threatening factors that impact the economy in the new geopolitical conditions. Special attention is given to the need for revising and adapting industrial support mechanisms considering current realities. Emphasized are strategies aimed at strengthening technological independence through the development of import-substituting productions and the stimulation of scientific and technical research. The article also highlights the support of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as drivers of economic growth, as well as the development of infrastructure and human capital to meet the needs of future industries. In the context of sanctions pressure, the article underscores the importance of developing new support tools, taking into account international commitments, and describes possible ways to strengthen positions in international markets. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the necessity for strategic adaptation of regional governance to achieve long-term sustainability and prosperity in the face of a changing external economic environment.
