PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF GASIFICATIONAND ADDITIONAL GASIFICATION IN THE RUSSIANFEDERATION IN THE CONTEXT OF MODERN CHALLENGES

differences were determined. The purpose of the study is to analyze further prospects for the
development of gasification and additional gasification in our country under the influence of modern
challenges. The following methods were used: substantive analysis of literature (scientific articles,
reports and other sources), statistical analysis and forecasting. A study of the gas industry of the
Russian Federation was also conducted, namely, natural gas consumption and its production. The
main attention is paid to scenarios for natural gas consumption (4 scenarios are presented). Analysis
of statistics showed that gasification in the Russian Federation is proceeding at a rapid pace, and an
increasing number of regions are receiving gas. New innovative technologies are proposed that will
make the above-mentioned processes more rapid, efficient and safe. The main objective of the study
was to create a forecast for the state of the gas industry in the Russian Federation until 2030. In
conclusion, it was revealed that for more effective development of gasification and additional
gasification processes in the Russian Federation, it is necessary to pay more detailed attention to the
study of innovative technologies; economic analysis, environmental research, and social aspects
(analysis of the impact of gasification and additional gasification processes on the lives of citizens
and their quality).
