ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AS A TOOL OF NATIONAL ECONOMIC SECURITY

The modern conditions dictate that the acceptable level of national economic security can be achieved only by constant and sustainable growth of the whole economy with a systematic approach to solving today’s problems. One component of overall security is the environmental safety of the country. The use of environmental management systems at all levels of national security allows improving product quality, increasing the competitiveness of Russian enterprises and technologies, reducing the risk of man-made disasters, predicting further development, and preventing the impact of different threats to the economic system of Russia as a whole.
