METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF COMPANY’S ECONOMIC SECURITY ASSESSMENT IN THE CONDITIONS OF EMERGENCY SITUATION

The development of technologies and the complexity of production processes has led to an increase in the scale of negative consequences of companies’ impact on the environment. On the other hand, the occurrence of emergency situations of natural or technogenic (anthropogenic) characters in the conditions of deepening the division of labor and constantly increasing interdependence violates the stability of the work of almost all subjects of the national economy. At the same time, the currently used methods of assessing damage from emergencies, as well as approaches to their classification, do not take into account the issues of ensuring economic security at the level of economic entities, limiting by assessment the consequences at the macro- and meso- levels. This article analyzes various approaches to systematization of emergency situations and offers a classification of hazards and threats to economic security of a company associated with emergencies, as well as a method for assessing the impact of emergencies on economic security. The approaches proposed in the article can serve as a basis for further development of methods for improving the stability of companies’ functioning in emergency situations.
