Perspectives of digitalization of the activities of the customs service of Russia

Most foreign trade business processes and state control over these processes proceed through "global neural networks" of monitoring and supply chain management, and interact only in a single language - digital. A completely new digital culture has formed, and economic interaction has transformed into a digital form. Therewith, the digital economy not only opens up new opportunities to improve the efficiency of customs control, but also in the meantime creates a number of challenges. Today the problem of transition to a new system of interaction between the customs and participants of foreign economic activity based on harmonious partnership, monitoring and on analysis of large arrays of data is arising.
The article deals with the problems and special aspects of the formation of the electronic (digital) Customs under conditions of supranational digital integration (within the framework of the Eurasian Customs Union), interdepartmental digital integration (in the context of electronic interaction of the customs and other departments in the foreign economic sphere). The article also presents the formation features of the future risk management system as a key analytical kernel of the digital Customs.
