ESG activism by global institutional investors

The article analyzes the institutional aspects of global sustainable finance. The object of the study is institutional investors in developed countries, which have been making large-scale ESG investments and managing huge sustainable assets for quite a long time. However, their ESG activity has declined in recent years. Since the financial sector has a serious impact on the entire global ESG industry, it seems very relevant to identify the reasons for the contemporary trends.
