ASPECTS OF INVOLVEMENT OF TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT SUBJECTS IN ENSURING NATIONAL ECONOMIC SECURITY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Involvement of technological development entities (TDE) in ensuring national technological sovereignty (NTS) and economic security of Russia helps to reduce dependence on external supplies and strengthen the domestic market. However, insufficient attention to these processes may create new threats at various levels of economic security. The purpose of the article is to clarify the role of technological development entities in ensuring national economic security of the Russian Federation with the development of elements of policies to facilitate their involvement in the economic security system. The study is based on the methods of conceptual, comparative and economic-statistical analysis. Results: the article presents information on regulatory legal acts reflecting the concepts of economic security and national technological sovereignty and identifies the interrelations of activities to ensure priority interests in both areas. The article describes the range of organizations related to TDE and draws attention to the lack of a formal definition of such entities, which complicates the implementation of individual policies on their involvement in the NTS and economic security. Based on the results of statistical analysis, the article shows the role of industries with a predominance of TDE in sustainable and secure development as sectors with a deliberately high level of return on assets in comparison with other sectors of the economy. Attention is drawn to the problems of technological development in Russia, threats and challenges to economic security for the state and corporate participants in partnerships in the field of strengthening the TDE. Priority areas for transforming state policies to ensure economic security with the involvement of STR in strengthening the NTS are proposed.
