Successful and effective development of the digital economy of the Russian Federation is a key factor for sustainable development, production growth in all spheres of social and economic activity, which increases the country''s competitiveness, the quality of life of citizens, and ensures the economic growth and national sovereignty. The subject of the study is questions of practical-oriented training corresponding to the immediate needs of the professional labor market in the rapidly developing digital economy of the Russian Federation. A comprehensive approach to the issue of education, which affects all stages of the formation of the required competencies and professional growth from school to the labor market, will allow the most effective implementation of the goals and objectives laid down in it by the education system. The authors of the article see the special value of a bundle of educational organizations of higher education with employers'' organizations through the project interaction of academic and practice-oriented approaches with the goal of forming graduates as integral professionals of the «Fintech» industry.
