METHODOLOGY FOR CHANGE MANAGEMENT IN RAILWAY TRANSPORT ORGANIZATIONS

JATS‑XML (OAI)In modern conditions, the role of passenger rail transport in solving socio-economic problems is significantly increasing. The changes taking place in the external environment require the implementation of appropriate transformations in the internal environment of the organization in order to ensure its financial and economic stability and continuity of activities in the long term. The article contains the results of scientific work on the development of methodological provisions in the field of change management in the activities of railway transport organizations engaged in passenger transportation, taking into account industry specifics. During the research, methods of analysis, generalization, grouping, expert assessments, and a systematic approach were used. The main stages of change management in the organizations of railway passenger transport have been defined. An algorithm for managing changes in the railway passenger organization has been developed. The indicators determining the factors of change management in the passenger railway organization have been proposed. A methodology for managing changes in a railway transport company engaged in passenger transportation has been developed. The practical use of the proposed methodology for managing changes in the activities of domestic railway passenger organizations will ensure an increase in the market value of companies, enhancement of their competitiveness, as well as raising the level of efficiency and effectiveness of achieving established strategic goals.
