KEY TRENDS IN THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE BANKING BUSINESS

JATS‑XML (OAI)The relevance of the research topic is due to the predetermining role of digital transformation in maintaining the competitiveness of the modern banking business. Based on the analysis of the practice of using digital technologies in the banking business, the key trends in the digital transformation of the banking business are identified, which consist in the formation of ecosystems and other forms of partnerships to expand and monetize the client base, robotization of processes with the gradual replacement of the human mind and labor with technologies using artificial intelligence, as well as integration of banking databases with registers and databases of government agencies, information and analytical agencies and other open sources on the global Internet (company websites, social networks, etc.). Examples of the application of digital transformation technologies for modern, primarily Russian banking business for each of the selected trends are given.
