This article discusses modern approaches to defining the concept «engagement» and tools
that can be used to improve this indicator. In addition, the engagement report that was used to determine
the level of engagement in the study author's employer is analyzed in detail. Employee engagement
was determined based on the results of a questionnaire survey that included 22 employees
of Sberbank's business division. The survey was conducted in several blocks: the image of senior
management, the effectiveness of work in Sberbank, the working atmosphere, customer orientation,
and the system of remuneration and benefits. In order to further develop the level of employee engagement
of Sberbank, the management of the business division is invited to pay attention to improving
the feedback channels with the team. The purpose of this work is to define the concept of
"engagement". The object of the research is tools and mechanisms that help determine the level of
the corresponding exponent, as well as significantly improve its bonus.
