State support for Russian non-resource, non-energy exports as a factor in ensuring national economic security

The objective of this article is to analyze the role of state support for Russian non-resource, non-energy exports (NRNEE) in strengthening national economic security. To this end, the study utilizes inductive, observational, and analytical methods. The results demonstrate that, amid developing global markets and escalating geopolitical tensions, it is becoming increasingly important for Russia to diversify its export portfolio beyond traditional commodity sectors, and state support, in the current situation, could become a key driver of this process. This article examines the concept of non-resource, non-energy exports, defines the relationship between export activity and national economic security, establishes the current state of Russia's NRNEE and its development dynamics, and analyzes mechanisms of state intervention, including financial incentives, regulatory frameworks, and other initiatives aimed at promoting the growth of non-resource sectors, determining their effect on strengthening Russia's national economic security. The findings demonstrate that export activity is an integral component of adhering to the principles of national economic security.  In turn, the development of non-resource, non-energy exports in the current conditions is becoming a key method for solving Russia's foreign trade problems, achieving its maximum potential with active intervention from the authorities.
