Ensuring the economic security of the oil and gas industryin the face of sanctions

An analysis of the current state of the Russian economy confirms the negative impact of sanctions on its industries. The purpose of the work is to study approaches to managing the economic security of the oil and gas industry in the context of sanctions. The object of the study is the economic security of the oil and gas industry. The subject of the study is the impact of foreign economic restrictions on the economic security of the oil and gas industry. Research methods: analysis and synthesis, systematization. The theoretical and problematic analysis made it possible to clarify the concept of "economic security" in the context of the functioning of the oil and gas industry in the context of sanctions; the content of the main risks and threats to the economic security of the oil and gas industry in the context of economic sanctions was supplemented; the key problems of ensuring economic security were highlighted; the oil and gas industry in the context of sanctions; the following key approaches and concepts of economic security were highlighted security. Based on the results of the work, the conclusion is substantiated that further research into methods of countering sanctions, as well as the formation of a comprehensive system of economic security, is difficult to achieve in conditions when new sanctions and restrictions are introduced annually against the entire national economy.
