The global energy complex in the long-term trend follows the transformation and transition to low-carbon energy sources. These changes bring with them both opportunities and risks for
Russia's economic security. The Russian fuel and energy sector has a number of competitive advantages to achieve its goals, but there are also certain barriers. From the point of view of the external market, the energy transition in key importers reduces the prospects for export revenues. The study provides an overview of energy transition scenarios and implications for the Russian energy sector.
