ECONOMIC JUSTIFICATION OF THE INTRODUCTION OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN TRANSPORT LOGISTICS

JATS‑XML (OAI)Digital transformation covers all areas of activity, including transport and logistics. According to experts, the introduction of innovative technologies in supply chain management will significantly reduce transport and logistics costs in the cost of production. The purpose of this research paper is to determine the basic principles of effective management of digital transformation in transport and indicators for assessing the economic feasibility of digital transformation of transport in an innovative economy. In the course of the research, methods of generalization, grouping, analysis, synthesis, comparison and others were used. This article presents the results of scientific work on improving methodological provisions in the field of assessing the economic impact of the introduction of digital technologies in transport logistics. At the same time, special attention is paid to unmanned vehicles using the example of motor transport. Modern digital technologies are summarized, the use of which makes it possible to generally increase the economic efficiency of logistics activities and achieve a significant reduction in the transport component in the price of finished products. The fundamental principles of managing a transport organization in the context of digitalization are defined. The advantages of the introduction of autonomous transport are revealed. Indicators for assessing the economic effect resulting from the use of unmanned vehicles are proposed. The practical use of the developed methodological provisions in the activities of logistics organizations will increase the efficiency of all participants in the supply chain and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with the quality, timing and cost of transport services.
