COMMERCIALIZATION OF EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE LENINGRAD REGION

The purpose of the study is to analyze the existing legal framework regulating educational and outreach activities and to assess the possibilities of implementing educational activities in municipal budgetary cultural institutions of the Leningrad region on a commercial basis. The work uses complex sociological research methods, including personalized interviews and Internet surveys, as well as content analysis. As a result, the authors formulated a number of economically feasible project proposals for the commercialization of educational activities and proposed the project «Children's School of Entrepreneurship», implemented on the basis of the municipal budgetary institution Gatchinsky House of Culture with subsequent scaling up to similar cultural institutions of the Leningrad region. The main conclusion based on the results of the study is related to the approval of the promising direction of commercialization of educational activities and the possibility of its implementation on the basis of municipal budgetary organizations, which will bring them additional funds for the development of basic free activities, on the one hand, and form a favorable environment for educational entrepreneurship in small towns and settlements of the Leningrad region, on the other hand
