Green finance in the modernization of the energy complex

The research is devoted to attracting «green» financing for the modernization of the energy complex of economic systems. The research analyzes the foreign experience of using «green» financing. The focus is on green bonds as the dominant form of green finance. The essence of «green» bonds in general form is considered and the features of European, American and Chinese securities are analyzed. The drivers of development and barriers to each model of financing through «green» bonds are highlighted. It is proposed to consider the Russian emerging market of «green» bonds and the system of «green» financing, indicating the systemic problems of the Russian economy in the industrial sector and investment. The article presents the relevance of renewable energy sources and provides a list of sectors of «green» modernization within the energy industry. Conclusions are drawn about the effective configuration of the state and corporations for the implementation of the «green» financing system within the Russian approach.
