Modern instruments of currency regulation

In modern conditions the state regulation occurs almost in all spheres of society life, including currency relations. Thus, among other types of government impact on the economy, foreign exchange market regulation in transition economies occupies an important place.

For the purpose of the most complete consideration of the concept of «currency regulation» in this article various approaches to its definition are analyzed, on the basis of which the author offered his own definition. The features of foreign exchange market regulation, namely its goals, objectives and instruments are considered.

Much attention is devoted to modern instruments of currency regulation. Their essence, purposes of use and their classification are considered. On this basis, the author proposed classification attributes of instruments of currency regulation.
