The idea of defining problems for ensuring the economic security of participants in the investment-construction process in the digital economy

The objective of this study is to develop a conceptual typology of problems associated with ensuring the economic security of participants in the investment and construction process in the digital economy. To this end, two scientific objectives were addressed: the first was to define the conditions of the digital economy, and the second was to identify the objects of its impact in the context of economic security. In the domestic scientific literature, the topic of ensuring the economic security of participants in the investment and construction process remains understudied. The majority of scientific studies focused on the economic security of organizations, including those operating in the investment and construction sector. Consequently, a necessary theoretical description of the impact of the digital economy on the economic security of participants in the investment and construction process was missing. General scientific research methods were used to address these objectives. First, the author introduced a definition of economic security for participants in the investment and construction process. Then, the levels of a hierarchical representation of economic security indicators for participants in the investment and construction process were determined. Next, the key specific features of the distinctive categories (capability, opportunity, security) of economic security were revealed within the framework of a study of participants in the investment and construction process implemented in the digital economy.
