Geoeconomics of Kazakhstan and restructuring of the national industry

The article analyzes the economy of Kazakhstan and justifies the further strengthening of its role as a link between Europe and Asia within the EAEU. On the basis of the conducted research it is proved that the consolidation of the geo-economic position of Kazakhstan implies continuing structural changes in the national economy in order to economic development and cooperation with neighboring countries, including Russia. This requires the substantiation of a number of interrelated directions of restructuring of the national industry and forecasting the expected economic effect, which can be considered as one of the factors for the further integration of Kazakhstan and the EAEU countries.
