BRICS EXPANSION AS AND FACTOR FOR DEVELOPMENT OF PARTNERSHIP FINANCING IN THE HIGH-TECH SDG PROJECTS

Research objective: The BRICS expansion hypothesis is used to prove the importance of developing partnership financing in Russia for the SDG/ESG high-tech projects implementation. Research methods: reliable sources contextual analysis, hypothetico-deductive method, logical generalization and expert evaluation, scientific publications comparative analysis and comparison. Results: estimation of the GDP and population of BRICS member countries based on 2023 data, estimating the share size of Islamic Finance and Islamic Banking in the world economy. Comparison of SDG/ESG, Higher Goals of Islam (Maqasid Al Shariah) and Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) values is analyzed. The activities of domestic, foreign and inter-regional institutions for regulating and developing Islamic finance have been reviewed. Examples of high-tech green energy and blue economy successful development projects in Islamic economies are presented. An overview of Sharia’ah standards in the AAOIFI agreed translation as one of the foundations for the partnership financing development in Russia is presented. Prospects for the high-tech projects creation and development on the basis of the Law on Partnership Financing are offered. The author concludes that BRICS expansion is a fundamental factor in the development of high-tech project partnership funding in Russia on its way of win-win interaction between the Global south countries towards the goal of BRICS common currency creation and SDG/ESG achievement.
