Environmental business: problems and prospects of development

JATS‑XML (OAI)The article is devoted to the study of the possibilities and dynamics of the development of environmental entrepreneurship. The paper highlights the distinctive characteristics and directions of the development of environmental business, identifies the main problems of the development of environmental entrepreneurship in our country. The article reveals the change in public interests in terms of the demand for environmental products, considers the problem of «greenwashing» in entrepreneurship, analyzes the advantages of environmental innovations in large international corporations, and gives recommendations on the directions of environmental business development. The result of this study is the conclusion about the need to develop environmental entrepreneurship in the Russian Federation.
