📄 PDF Статьи
JATS‑XML (OAI)The present paper analyzes the problem of adaptation of oil and gas companies to the new technological paradigm. The goal of the research is to propose a classification of strategies of adaptation. The methodological basis of this classification is the concept of oil and gas companies as multi-level entrepreneurial structures. It is demonstrated that each level of oil and gas companies’ activity corresponds to a specific strategy of adaptation. Depending on the model of transformation of company the strategy of adaptation can be resource-based, fuel-based, production-based and market-based. Nature, specific features and impact of each type of transformation are described. These strategies are not mutually exclusive and can complement each other (companies can form an optimal set of strategies depending on their goals). In addition to transformation strategies, companies can choose a conservative strategy and continue to use its existing business model. In this case the company should move to markets where the transition to the new energy paradigm did not take place.
