JATS‑XML (OAI)Sanctions have an impact on all spheres of the national economy. The search for measures aimed at supporting the functioning of industries and spheres of activity in the new conditions should be carried out taking into account the speed of response of these industries to sanctions pressure. In addition, in the strategic period of time, the priority of the development of certain spheres of the national economy is important. The relevance of the conducted research lies in the absence of similar experience of the functioning of the financial market of the Russian Federation in past periods of time, as well as the inability to fully use the existing foreign experience due to the difficulty of adapting it to the restrictions being invested in Russia. The purpose of the work is to determine the trend of further development of the Russian economy, the Russian financial market under restrictions, the impact of which leads to a reorientation of investment flows – the basis for the development of the state economy. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were identified: the current trends in the functioning of the Russian economy were investigated, the process of functioning of the Iranian economy after the sanctions imposed against the country was analyzed, changes in the movement of investment funds due to the reaction of the Russian economy to the sanctions imposed were studied, the possibility of changes in the country's stock market was proved. The hypothesis of the study is manifested in the need to take into account the impact of macroeconomic changes on the financial market of the Russian Federation. Such scientific research methods as logical, analysis and synthesis, modeling have been used in the work.
